We work closely with both Devon and Cornwall's Wildlife Trusts through our parent company's Pennon Water Champions programme.

The programme, which is managed by the trusts, helps to raise the profile of aquatic conservation issues and provides funding for managing such environments.

The funding is made available through Viridor Waste Management's landfill tax credits supported by contributions from South West Water.

Already around £650,000 has been committed to enhancing aquatic areas in the region through the Pennon Water Champions Community Fund.
