The table below sets out the average percentages by which water and sewerage charges will be increasing for the 2006/07 charging year (an individual customer's increase will depend on how much they pay now and which tariffs apply. These increases have been approved by Ofwat as complying with the price limits it has set for South West Water for 2006/07.

South West Water is doing an excellent job in saving water by repairing leaks to its 10,000 miles (16,000 kms) distribution network – a fact confirmed by Ofwat, the official watchdog of the water industry.
