Justin Ruscombe-King, who had seen equipment destroyed by the floodwater, has been loaned tanks, pipework and other specialist fish rearing equipment by the water company and as a result the operation to rear salmon and trout is beginning to recover.

The specialist equipment has been dismantled from a fish farm installation downstream of Colliford Reservoir on Bodmin Moor not currently in use.

Mr Ruscombe-King, said: "I am absolutely delighted with the assistance given to me by South West Water. The company has bent over backwards to provide essential equipment at short notice that may have taken many months or even years to obtain."

South West Water's Water Strategy Manager, Neil Whiter, explained that on hearing of Mr Ruscombe-King's plight it seemed the company could help and is pleased to have been able to play just a small part in the recovery of a local business.
