Plymouth 36 inch diameter burst main - Haroldsleigh Avenue, ManadonSouth West Water is working round the clock to fix a major burst on a water main at Manadon, Plymouth.
The water main burst occurred at 1.30am this morning and since then a team of engineers and other staff have been working to solve the problem. We anticipate completion by Friday morning at the latest. ![]() Plymouth 36 inch diameter burst main - Haroldsleigh Avenue, Manadon Water supplies to the area have not been affected as there is another main which runs parallel and feeds the same area. South West Water has mobilised its Customer Service Unit along with a Customer Liaison Team who are also in the area talking to residents affected and, in conjunction with contractors, helping with the clean-up. The Customer Service Unit will be open until 9.00 pm this evening, 8.00am - 8.00pm Friday and 9.00am - 5.00pm Saturday and Sunday. Regrettably some properties have suffered internal flooding as a result of the burst South West Water apologises to customers affected.
