Free water use workshops for cornwall businessesBusinesses in Cornwall are being offered the opportunity to attend free water conservation workshops being held at the outstanding Eden Project in October and November.
The workshops, which will include an opportunity to tour the water efficient site, are being run by South West Water and Global Action Plan to help businesses manage their water use more efficiently and potentially reduce their bills. Brian Hooper, South West Water's Water Conservation Manager, said: "This is an opportunity not to be missed by businesses in Cornwall - particularly those who use larger volumes of water in their processes. "We have already held a similar event in Devon which proved very useful for the companies involved. "We work very closely in the region with Global Action Plan, an environmental charity specialising in water, waste and energy conservation, to provide valuable information to customers. This can help to improve their environmental awareness and quality of life, and protect the local environment in the longer term." The half day workshops are being held on Monday, 8 October and Monday 5 November and interested businesses should contact Global Action Plan on 01392 382885 or fleur@gapuk.demon.co.uk - ENDS - For further information please contact Stephen Swain, Communications Manager on 01392 443022.
