Burst water main in South Brent area ***UPDATE***

South West Water is an industry leader on reducing leakage
At 14.30 yesterday, South West Water suffered a burst to one of its 18" trunk mains whilst carrying out a refurbishment to pipe work under the railway line in South Brent.

***UPDATE*** South West Water has now repaired the burst and is currently recharging the main and customers should find their supply returning to normal during the day. However, it may take an extended period of time for the system to settle and some customers may experience discolouration. ***END OF UPDATE***

The affected areas are:

Avonwick
Harberton
Eastleigh
Curtisknowle
Diptford
Halwell
Moreleigh
North Huish
Woodleigh

Bowsers are currently being deployed to the following areas: Harberton (x3), Diptford (x2), Moreleigh, Boreston, Curtisknowle and Avonwick.
