Internships at South West Water are intended to allow individuals to gain relevant professional experience before embarking on a career. Internships can be undertaken during vacation periods or a gap year. South West Water has previously provided placements in Information Services, Health & Safety and Security, Engineering, Waste Water and Water Treatment.
The route to an internship is typically via The Year in Industry (YINI) scheme administered by the Engineering Development Trust (EDT) or via Graduate Business Partnerships administered by the University of Exeter.
