Last year was our sixteenth successive summer without any form of water restrictions affecting domestic and business customers.
Our industry-leading record on tackling leakage, transforming two china clay pits into reservoirs, upgrades to our distribution network and using less water in our own treatment processes together with our customers using less water themselves have all contributed to this good position.
Total reservoir storage this week is 93% compared to 90% at this time last year.
