Sponsorship guidelines
South West Water encourages requests for sponsorship from a wide variety of organisations and individuals. It is not always possible to offer sponsorship to everyone who applies, but it may be helpful to explain our policy regarding requests.
| Sponsorship guidelines | | 1. | South West Water supports applications from within our service area - Devon, Cornwall and small parts of Dorset and Somerset | | 2. | We will favour larger distinct projects where we can either be lead sponsor or co-sponsor | | 3. | We seek to allocate funds evenly across our service area | | 4. | Environment, water and youth related projects are preferred | | 5. | It is our company policy not to provide sponsorship to any political party or organisation | | 6. | We do not fund religious organisations/events unless substantially related to water, the environment or youth participation | | 7. | We do not fund arts projects unless substantially related to water, the environment or youth participation | | 8. | We do not support expeditions or personal development trips abroad unless connected to the work of our industry charity, WaterAid | | 9. | We do not fund university courses/costs for individuals |
