Support for charities
South West Water is committed to supporting charitable causes in our region and have selected, with our staff, charity partners with strong links in our region and to our business.
These charities, together with our international charity partner, WaterAid, will be the focus for our charitable giving and partnership working to benefit communities.
The selected charities are the Devon and Cornwall Food Association, Age UK Devon, Age UK Cornwall, Devon Air Ambulance Trust, Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust and the RNLI.
We also continue to support the Cornwall 100 Club, administered by the Cornwall Community Foundation, and the Plymouth Drake Foundation.
We contract with many charities to deliver projects for us, including Age Concern UK, Citizens' Advice Bureaux, the Wildlife trusts of Devon and Cornwall and the Westcountry Rivers Trust.
We also have Sponsorship in place with a strong regional focus.
Our new policy may mean that we are unable to support some charities that we have helped in the past. We have a limited budget available and unfortunately we are unable to help everyone.
Please see below for a list of alternative grant-giving bodies in Devon and Cornwall who may be able to support your cause.
