Guidelines

	Pennon Group Charitable Donations Committee Guidelines
1.	Pennon supports applications from within the South West Water service area - Devon, Cornwall and small parts of Dorset and Somerset
2.	Pennon supports applications from locations close to Viridor's operational sites. Please visit Viridor Developments for Viridor sites across the UK
3.	We support activities which build and benefit communities, whether sporting, cultural, educational, social or environmental
4.	There is no requirement for charitable status, though please provide details of your status if you have it
5.	Donations are generally only made once a year to a particular charity, cause or individual
6.	Donations normally range from £50 to £1,000
7.	Donations for medical research are excluded
8.	Donations are not made to appeals intended to promote a particular political or denominational affiliation
9.	We do consider appeals from individuals or groups taking part in a community project abroad
10.	We do not provide support to personal development trips abroad, unless associated with water industry charity WaterAid
11.	We do not provide support to further education for individuals.
