What we're doing

Leak detection

Despite less than average rainfall for two successive years, we are still expecting this to be our 16th successive summer without water restrictions. Here are some of the things we do to maintain and increase our supply.

Reduced leakage by 40%
Doubled capacity since 1976 and opened two Cornish reservoirs since 2007
Improved our ability to move water around the region
Increased capacity of our water treatment works
Using less water in our treatment processes.
