Public consulted about proposed wind turbines

Two public consultation exhibitions held recently in Stithians and St Newlyn East were well attended by local residents.  The events were arranged to give information about South West Water’s plans to erect single small wind turbines at their sites at Stithians Water Treatment Works and Newquay Sewage Treatment Works.

Bonhay Road (A377) reopens

The section of Bonhay Road in Exeter which has been closed between the entrance and exit of Exeter St David's station has reopened. The road was closed on 2 May while South West Water provided a new sewer to connect student accommodation to the main sewer network. The road has reopened today, 19 May.
