The A-Team is a group of apprentices that believe in building a stronger community for all apprentices within the business to build skills and develop understanding.

I am Lewis and I work for the Environment and Sustainability department.

I believe that creating a strong apprenticeship community is key to integrating apprentices into the business and to give them the support they need to move through the program with the hope that they will stay on at the company. It also adds a bit more of a fun and social aspect to work we organise away days to get to know one and other and make new friends within the company.

We aim to make the apprenticeship program as engaging and fun as possible, giving the apprentices what they need to develop through the company.

My name is Becca I am an Organisation and Employee development apprentice and am part of the Apprenticeship Team.

The A-Team, as it is also known is run by apprentices and aims to build a community between apprentices across all areas of South West Water. Having a network of like minded individuals is so valuable, especially in a large business. We can share experiences, build professional relationships with people as well understanding different parts of South West Water. The apprentice community provides another support network for apprentices within South West Water.

Hi, I'm Millicent and I work as an apprentice within Communications team.

Creating a close apprenticeship community allows all apprentices to recognise familiar faces within the business. This is extremely important as most apprentices joining South West Water have not worked within an office environment before and this may be a daunting experience.
