Waste Water Network Manager - Exeter - (265/17)

Salary circa £42,000 depending on Skills and experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Wastewater Network Manager within the Asset Management Department. 

With a proven track record in strategic asset  management together with water industry experience, the Wastewater Network Manager will oversee and direct all aspects of Sewer Network investment planning including capital maintenance requirements, growth demands and partnership working in order to improve the performance of our sewerage network system.

Your leadership and team management skills will drive network performance specifically in terms of reduced pollution events,  internal and external sewer flooding, collapses, blockages and improved asset reliability.  You will be required to consistently lead and motivate your team in ensuring effective investment planning and management of our network assets in accordance with legal, regulatory and environmental requirements.  Team responsibilities include preparation of the annual Specific Investment Plans and evidencing business cases to support the Periodic Review process and business planning submissions (PR19).  In addition, you will work with other Asset Management and Waste Water colleagues to improve our environmental performance.

The successful candidate will be a great communicator who can quickly build effective working relationships with people at all levels.  You should have strong technical skills and be innovative in your approach.
