Delivered by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) trained instructors - this course identifies the issues surrounding manual handling, discusses best practice and ensures you and your staff are doing all you can to avoid problems.
Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) awareness
Working with chemicals can pose serious threats to the health and safety of your staff. Our COSHH training course is designed to inform people, who handle chemicals as part of their daily work, of the risks to their health that harmful substances present.
A combined fire safety awareness and fire extinguisher training event ensures that your staff are able to identify potential problems and understand how these problems can be addressed. The 'hands on' element of the course allows delegates to extinguish fires using a variety of equipment which may be the only opportunity they will have to use a fire extinguisher in a controlled environment.
Chlorine & sulphur dioxide awareness
Further to our COSHH awareness - this course tackles the particular issues posed when using chlorine in your processes. Our unique chlorine training environment enables delegates to experience working on a pressurised dosing system containing low concentration chlorine gas (balance Nitrogen).
Breathing apparatus - self contained & long line
If you don't require the full City & Guilds 6150-03 breathing apparatus course, our fully certified instructors can train your staff in the correct usage of both self-contained and long line breathing apparatus. The course is designed with the end-user in mind ensuring that operations that require the use of breathing apparatus are carried out safely and in line with the latest regulations.
