Giving back to the community
Our customer service team have been keeping up the good work - not just answering calls and helping our customers - they've been busy collecting and delivering food donations to the local community.
Our team delivered donations to:
Dawlish Community Larder
Dawlish Community Larder is run in partnership with ROC Dawlish (Redeeming Our Communities) and Helping Dawlish (a group of local organisations led by the Town Council) Helping Dawlish is aware that some people are self-isolating or are still being impacted by the effects of the lockdown on their finances, families, businesses, mental and physical health and may require support. This Christmas, the Community Larder are providing 80 standardised Christmas hampers to those who are experiencing financial hardship.
The Samaritans
To thank our Samaritans for supporting mental health & well- being within our communities, we collected and delivered food donations to our Exeter and Torquay branches. This was to keep the volunteers fuelled over the Christmas period.
Exmouth Community Larder
In acknowledgement of the great work they do, we collected and delivered food donations to the Exmouth Community Larder.
