An underground rain water harvesting tank being installed in Exmouth Residents in Exmouth are playing a part in a pilot scheme to reduce the risk of flooding by participating in an innovative rainwater harvesting project funded by South West Water.

Kitchen fitter fined for illegal use of lead solder on water pipe

South West Water is urging people not to use potentially toxic lead solder to connect metal pipes supplying drinking water, or they could run the risk of prosecution. Lead-free solder should always be used for drinking water connections.
