The new tariffs will come into effect on 1 April 2025. Customers on a meter will see these new tariffs on their first bill after this date, customers paying unmeasured charges will see this on their annual bill for 2025/26. The removal of the Government Contribution will also be reflected in these bills. We will contacting customers in the new year with additional information on price increases and the support we can offer.

Whilst there will be some adjustments to customer bills, we are committed to keeping increases as minimal as possible. We will continue to offer support programmes for those in financial difficulty and work on initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs, ultimately benefiting our customers. During the 2025-2030 period we plan to increase our package of financial support to over £200m and are doubling down on our commitment to eradicate water poverty by 2030.
