Our investment
We invested in essential upgrades to the water network serving Camborne and the surrounding area. This project formed part of our Resilience Scheme and helped strengthen and future proof local water supplies as the area continues to grow.
As new developments have been built in Camborne and nearby communities, demand on the water network has increased. To support this growth, we installed additional water mains to expand network capacity and improve overall resilience. This investment helped reduce the risk of supply interruptions during periods of high demand and provided greater flexibility in the event of an emergency.
Works completed
We installed new sections of water main to enhance the existing network. These upgrades increased capacity and improved reliability, helping to ensure the system can meet future demand.
The work took place within the public highway and involved excavation to lay the new pipes. Following construction, affected areas were reinstated, with any remaining reinstatement activities being completed as part of the final stages of the project.
