What’s happening in Exmouth

Our plans for 2025 and beyond

Projects and investments in Exmouth

South West Water remains dedicated to improving services in Exmouth. This page outlines current projects and future initiatives.

Our goal is to reduce storm overflow spills to improve water quality, targeting a maximum of ten spills per year per overflow by 2030, with only two spills in designated bathing waters during the bathing season.

Reducing our reliance on storm overflows

We’re working on several projects in Exmouth and it’s surrounding areas to address spills in the area. To ensure our solutions are effective we need to survey the area, this helps us to understand the factors that cause overflows to be used.

Please be aware that the stated finish dates below are subject to factors such as planning and approvals that may affect the schedule.
