Let's Talk Water

Our stakeholder forum

What is it?

Our Let's Talk Water Stakeholder Forums, hosted by our Natural Resources team, provide an opportunity for you to meet with us to discuss topics relevant to the water industry and your local community. You’ll also receive updates on our projects and plans, share your views, and get answers to key questions. We know input from all our stakeholders is vital to understanding the issues we face, the local impacts, and the possible solutions to the challenges we face. We host meetings quarterly, and we’d love for you to join us at our next meeting, which will either be online or in person.

Our next meeting

Date; Monday 22nd September 2025

Time; 12:30-16:30

Storm overflows and drought resilience

You told us that you would like to hear more about our work to reduce storm overflow use and how we plan to build drought resilience across the region. In previous Lets Talk Water webinars we shared information on some of the projects and initiatives that we are delivering in these two key areas.

Protecting and restoring the Environment

You let us know that you were keen to learn more about our work to protect and improve the environment, so in previous  stakeholder forums we focussed on the environment. We gave an overview of our environmental work and discussed our responsibilities as a water company.

Managing drainage and wastewater systems

Due to interest from you regarding storm overflows we started the forum with a presentation focussed on Storm Overflows and our Drainage and Wastewater Management Plan. We also updated you on our Waterfit Live project and summarised our PR24 business plan. Following the presentations, we held round table discussions to gather feedback on our plans and learn more about the issues that matter most to you.
