Customer update - 25 August 2026
We would like to make customers and local villagers aware that you may notice increased security at our Stithians site following a recent break-in on 19/08/2026.
The incident is currently being investigated by the police, and additional security measures are being put in place at our site while the investigation is ongoing.
There may be a delay to the ongoing works as multiple items of our equipment was stolen.
We appreciate your understanding.
Customer update – 19 August 2026
South West Water has now completed all the necessary preparatory and planning work in order to progress the network upgrades at Foundry.
Following extensive CCTV pipework investigations throughout Stithians and the surrounding catchment, we are returning to the village this week to start the next phase of work in Foundry. We will be replacing a large section of the sewer network and connected pipework to improve resilience and capacity in the network. We hope to keep any disruption to the community to a minimum.
